Hung out with you guys today at the Orvis game fair in Millbrook, NY. My 8year old dreams of being a blacksmith someday. I got to look around at your really unique work and admire the quality. I collect bottle openers and labored over wether or not to buy your oyster knife/bottle opener.
First off, it is beautiful and feels so perfect in my hand. Really well thought out design too. I drink more beer than I eat oysters, but when I shuck oysters and clams; I drink beer! The way you hold the knife allows you to never take it out of your hand to open a bottle. Firm grip, never miss a beat!
I absolutely love this tool and will only pass it down to my son long enough for him to make his own! Twig misses you already!
