INGREDIENTS

Crusty Sourdough Bread

Leftover Sliced Turkey

Green Bean Casserole

Sweet Potato Casserole

Cranberry Sauce

Salted Butter

INSTRUCTIONS

Set up a Sea Island Forge fire kettle for griddle cooking. This will consist of a nice coal bed made with charcoal or natural wood without much of a fire still burning. Use the Sea Island Forge griddle. Get most of the coals to one side of the griddle to create a dual heat zone.

Lay down one slice of sourdough and lay out sliced turkey breast. Spread out green bean and sweet potato casseroles. Spread cranberry sauce on the other slice of sourdough, then top the sandwich with it.

Put a pad of butter down on the griddle and let it melt. Place the sandwich down in the melted butter and grill that side. Using a sandwich press or a heavy spatula, press down on the sandwich like a panini press. Put another pad of butter down and flip the sandwich over onto that butter and press again. Once both sides are nice and toasty, remove the sandwich from the grill, slice in half on a diagonal, and consume!
