Freight Delivery
Larger pieces travel by freight, most often on an 18-wheeler, occasionally on a smaller truck where the carrier can accommodate it. Before your order ships, a member of our team will call, text, or email you personally to confirm the estimated ship date and transit time.

- Our carrier schedules a specific delivery date and time window with you directly.
- An adult needs to be home to receive the crate. Delivery windows can run several hours, so plan to be flexible.
- You inspect the crate before you sign. This is the one step that matters most, see below.
Parcel Delivery
Smaller items ship via FedEx or UPS, typically within 2 to 3 days of purchase. You'll receive a
tracking number by email as soon as your order is on its way.
Before you sign
Please inspect your crate carefully before signing for it. Once a delivery slip is signed with no damage noted, our options for resolving a damage claim become very limited.
Visible damage to the crate
Refuse the delivery, photograph it, and call us rightaway at 912-580-0346.
Hidden damage found to the crate
Stop unpacking, take photos, and call us right away.
Concealed damage
This must be reported to the carrier within 5 days of delivery, so please don't wait to reach out.
Unpacking you kettle
Your kettle arrives secured in a wooden crate. Opening it takes a power screwdriver, a hammer, and a crowbar, and it's a two-to-four person job depending on the size. Watch our short video below before you start, and remember to remove all foam and zip ties before your first fire.
