Grilled Fruit Sangria
Grilling fruit caramelizes the natural sugars and brings out deep, rich flavors.
Grill slices of green apple, lemons, limes, and oranges. Just a minute or two each side.
Mix Rosé and a dry white wine such as Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio in a pitcher with fresh mint.
Pour over glasses of ice and grilled fruit slices. Garnish with berries and a sprig of rosemary.
Fruits that grill well for Sangria: citrus, apple, peaches, cantaloupe, watermelon, mango, pineapple, and strawberries.
Garnishes: berries, mint, basil, rosemary, lemon and orange twists.
